SRTS Phase V (Sidewalks)
Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Phase V is a continuation of the city's long-term goal of extending sidewalks under the federal SRTS program (now Transportation Alternative Program (TAP)). This project is projected to cost approximately $323.438 with ARDoT paying $256,697 and the city paying the remaining $66,741.
SRTS V will continue the sidewalk from Moon Rd Ext to Markham
March 4, 2025 Update: Because of FEMA flooding issues between Wilson Loop and Markham, the project has been modified to stop at Wilson Loop. Engineering firm is working with ARDoT to update cost analysis.
